Gang’s firm handles a variety of legal matters for clients, including increased ratings claims, service-connection claims, CAVC appeals, DIC (dependency and indemnity compensation), and TDIU. Gang focuses specifically on representing veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries. Gang also takes on a small number of qui tam whistleblower cases that involve defense contractor and SDVOSB fraud.
To date, Eric Gang and his team have helped hundreds of veterans win favorable rulings from such government institutions as the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC), the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA), and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Additionally, Gang has successfully recovered tens of millions of dollars on behalf of injured and disabled veterans.
Teaching Work
In addition to his work as attorney, Eric Gang teaches C.E. (continuing education) courses on legal issues pertaining to disabled veterans. Currently, Gang is a member of the Lawline.com faculty, and serves as a lecturer for the National Business Institute.
Gang has also taught continuing legal education (CLE) courses for the State Bar Association, Rossdale, and the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
Authorship
Eric Gang is the co-author of two books related to appealing VA benefits. He is currently awaiting the release of his third book, Betrayal of Valor.
Gang has also written a number of educational papers for disabled veterans and their attorneys. Gang has also had articles featured in such publications as The Federal Lawyer.
